2021 Charity Art Auction – Online this year!
The covid-19 pandemic will not stand in the way of our annual Charity Art Auction. The need is too great and our beneficiaries need it now more than ever.
In the past 20 years we have been able to help over 23 charities & 8 schools with the money raised from our art auction. Join us and be part of this legacy! Click here to see how the 2019 funds were distributed.
After many ‘to an fro’ with our annual charity art auction that was postponed last year with the Covid Pandemic, we have found a solution to MAKE it work this year….
The need is just too BIG and the finished artworks from last year have all been kept ‘on ice’, waiting. So this year we are having a very ‘user friendly’ Charity Art Auction on Instagram. Follow us on @mariestander_schoolofart and see the beautiful, absolutely high quality art created by my students and myself, their art teacher.
Do not miss out on one of the most popular Charity Art Auction’s in SA. Everybody can participate, from art collectors to the man on the street, and this year buyers from all over the world.
Just know that buying an artwork makes such a difference in a needy human being’s life. We have been having this auction since 2001 at the beautiful Muratie Wine farm every year in March and have had so much success, with not once a work on auction not being sold. This year it is online 🤞 but we are totally positive ‘we can do it again’ with the help of you, or buyers.

From the 22nd to the 28th of Feb we will be telling you more about the auction. The auction starts on the 1st of March at 8:00 in the morning and will run for a week, ending at midnight on the 7th of March.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
STEP 1
Follow Us on Instagram to see all the art works.

A PDF catalogue of all the work is also available for download. Click here to download.
STEP 2
From the 1st of March, place your bidding price in the comments section below an art work. Keep watch, because the price might go higher. Place as many bids as your want until the 7th of March, midnight, when the auction closes.
If you do not want to bid via Instagram, you can email your bids to jessiestrydom@gmail.com.
STEP 3
On the 8th of March you will be notified if you are the lucky owner of a beatiful new artwork. You will be contacted to arrange payment and courier or delivery.
* Courier cost to be paid by the buyer.
